The Perfect Bouquet

Feeling crafty this Mother's Day? You can make the perfect bouquet for Mom with beautiful florals at our store. All you need is some fresh flowers, greenery, wrap and ribbon.

When it comes to picking out flowers, you will need four essentials:

1. Focal Flower – A larger flower that will be the focus and largest of the bouquet.
2. Smaller Flowers – These are slightly smaller than the focal flower and accent it perfectly. You can have 1-2 types of smaller flowers.
3. Filler Flower – Small, simple flowers such as baby’s breath that add texture and color and fill in the gaps.
4. Greenery – Greenery is essential and adds SO much to a bouquet it’s crazy!

Make sure to prep all your stems by cutting them at an angle prior to arranging. This makes it easier for the stems to drink up water.

When it comes to wrapping the bouquet, get a piece of thin paper, tissue paper or cellophane and lay down in a square. Start by placing your greenery at the corner of the one of the squares. Then alternate by adding fillers, small and focal flowers in a cascading pattern until it is full and looks as you desired. Wrap the paper and tie with a bow.

Make sure to not have the flowers out for too long.
